Dietary supplements should be measured by quality control and standardized.

Healthy diet foods are prepared and sold in many forms such as fresh products, dried substance, extracts, powders, pills, and tea bags. One herb could be prepared in different forms, so you have something to choose from. For example, if obesity is your family’s problem, you can add herb extracts to dishes when you cook. Instead, if the high blood pressure is just your husband’s problem, you can choose pills to be taken only by him.    

Taking herbal medicine itself won’t help you to lose your weight, for example. But it is an important part of the whole program of changing a lifestyle, improving your diet and being healthy and keeping fit.
